Gift Card Holder or Envelope?

Here is another fun twist on a gift card holder using SU!'s open-ended envelope. This is such a cute project, it looks like a little purse or wallet and would look pretty on your Christmas tree as well. We made these at my Ladies Stampin' Night Out! If you weren't there you missed out on another great night of laughs! Hopefully we will see you next time!!

RECIPE: DSP-Ski Slope; CS-Real Red, Whisper White & Old Olive; Stamps-Snow Swirled; Open-End Envelope; and Embellishments-Fire Round Rhinestone brads.

Classy Cupcakes

Here is the last card sample I have from Ladies Stamping Night Out. We did make one more card, featured here. I LOVE this card! It is so simple, classy and elegant. I also like this color combination. My all time favorite SU! color is Chocolate Chip, it is so versatile. Black can feel so harsh but browns are so warm and inviting.

It is hard to tell in the picture but after I watercolored the image I added a few details. I used a white gel pen to add a bit of dimension to the cupcakes and the cups. I also used Crystal Effects on the cherries, to give them some shine, and to the cupcake stand, to give it a glassy look.

RECIPE: DPS-Bella Rose; CS-Kiwi Kiss & Red Riding Hood; Stamp-Crazy for Cupcakes; Ink-Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip & Red Riding Hood; Ribbon-Chocolate Chip Grosgrain; Punches-Scallop Edge and Embellishments-Crystal Effects.

Catching the Cupcake Craze!

I just got this fabulous new stamp set "Crazy for Cupcakes". As soon as I saw this in the catalog I knew that I had to have it. It is so cute and I could do so much with it. As soon as it was in my hands I drew a creative blank. I couldn't think of a single thing to make with this set. But once I started playing with it, the ideas came flooding in.

This is one of the cards we made at Ladies Night Stamping Night Out. Who doesn't need a stash of birthday cards? I always need them. I love the colors in this card. It is hard to tell in the picture but I added Crystal Effects to the flame and sprinkles.

RECIPE: DSP-Bella Rosa; CS-Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White & Pirouette Pink; Stamp-Crazy for Cupcakes; Ink-Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss, Pirouette Pink, Whisper White & Riding Hood Red; Embellishments-Fire Circle Rhinestone Brads & Crystal Effects; and Punches-3/4" Circle.

Thanksgiving Thoughts

The "Thankful Thoughts" stamp set is so versatile. There is so much that you can do with it. Either leave it as a full square or cut out each one of the little squares and use those images separately.
RECIPE: DSP-Autumn Vines; CS-More Mustard, Really Rust, Very Vanilla; Stamps-Thankful Thoughts; Ribbon-Chocolate Chip Poly Twill (Retired).

Changing It Up!

I tend to see a stamp or paper exactly as it is shown or for the season it can be used. I tried to think a bit out of the box with the Season of Friendship Tree and Autumn Vine DSP. I wanted to make a Christmas card, but as you can see I am still a bit obsessed with these two products. So I decided to just use the branches of the tree instead of the whole thing. I also picked a pattern of the DSP that is more "winter" looking. Here is my creation! I hope it challenges you to change things up a bit.

RECIPE: DSP-Autumn Vines; CS-Chocolate Chip, Whisper White & Sage Shadow; Stamp-Season of Friendship; Ink-Chocolate Chip & Sage Shadow; Embellishment-Silver Brads; and Ribbon-Chocolate Chip Double Stitched Felt (Holiday Mini)

Autumn Leaves and Vines

I have been stamping the past few days (hard to believe I know). I just received my box of fall goodies from the new Holiday Mini!. I am a fickle stamper, as soon as I open one of our new DSPs I fall in love! I can't help it. I am a sucker for pretty paper. My latest "love" is the "Autumn Vine" paper in the Mini. It is so pretty and the colors are fabulous. This is my first attempt at any new projects in a couple of weeks. I hope this inspires you to try out our new Autumn products in the Mini.

RECIPE: DSP-Autumn Vine; CS-More Mustard, Chocolate Chip & Real Rust; Stamps-Season of Friendship; Ink-Real Rust, Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel, Sage Shadow, & Close to Cocoa.
